The ‘Forget Me Knot’ project has been running in schools across the island and has enabled each and every school child to navigate their emotional journey during Coronavirus through creativity. This has culminated in a breathtaking art installation in the Maritime Museum.
An off shoot from this is the creation of a limited edition of Forget Me Knot jewellery designed by a group from the Young Arts Jersey with creative support from Aqua Jersey and financial support from the Arts Society.
Created in 925 sterling silver amd set with breathtaking blue Opal stars, there are necklaces, earrings and charms.
This is complemented by a limited edition of laser cut artwork created by Layla May Arthur who has a growing reputation as an international paper cutting artist having exhibited across Europe and the US. The artwork is in the form of a card and insert which can be gifted as a card or framed to appreciate the delicate nature of the work.
